Hadoop uses multiple clusters of computers to&nbsp;analyze&nbsp;big data sets in parallel. The distributed&nbsp;processing of&nbsp;data sets can be scaled from single servers to multiple servers. The Hadoop library is designed in a manner to detect and negate failure at the application layer level and doesn\u2019t depend upon any hardware for delivering high availability.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hadoop is important for&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Storing and processing huge amounts of datasets in parallel quickly&nbsp;<\/li><li>It allows to scale infinitely just by adding nodes&nbsp;<\/li><li>It allows complete fault tolerance as the tasks are immediately routed to other nodes in case of failure of some nodes.
